Write a short note on Bio fertiliser(Science)
Biofertilisersare organisms that
enrich the nutrient quality of the soil. The main sources of biofertilisers are
bacteria, fungi and cyanobacteria. Rhizobium bacteria is found in symbiotic assosiation
the root nodules of leguminousplants. These bacteria fix atmospheric nitrogen
into organic forms, which is used bythe plant as nutrient.Azotobacter and
Azospirillum also fix atmospheric nitrogen, but these are free-livingbacteria
in the soil.
Mycorrhiza is a fungus that forms
symbiotic association with plants. It absorbsphosphorus from soil and passes it
to the plant. Cyanobacteria are autotrophic microbes that are widely
distributed in aquatic andterrestrial environments and have the ability to fix
atmospheric nitrogen.Blue green algae, not only add nutrients but also the
organic matter and thusincrease fertility of the soil.

Why did youth were not in conformity with the
ideals of moderates during freedom struggle? (Indian History)
Not contented with the political
mendicancy of the ‘moderates’ and the inefficient decisionmaking of the
‘extremist’, the advent of individual and revolutionary terrorism was gettingprominence
in the freedom struggle.Indian youth resort to revolutionary terrorism during the
independence struggle in threephases: like post Bengal patrician, between NCM
and CDM, and last phase post Quit IndiaMovement.
The other reason was the youths
coming in contact with the global events like Influence from outside India like
Russian revolutionist (nihilism) and Irish nationalists. The other major reason
was the failure of the moderates and extremist to achieve the desired result.
The policies of Britishers in the form of curbing the freedom and liberty of
youths via enaction of university act, Rowlatt act etc. Another reason was the
growing unemployment and rising atrocities

State the classical theories of the origin of monsoon.
1. Halley’s Thermal concept:
Indian monsoon is because of contrast between Indian Subcontinent and adjoining
Indian Ocean. Halley’s theory, suggested in 1686, considers the summer monsoon
to be a regional phenomenon.
2. Aerological concept: This was
suggested by R. Scherhag in 1948. According to this theory, monsoon circulation
develops due to changes in air temperature at all levels over the Indian
Subcontinent and adjoining Indian Ocean
