1.      Write a short note on Bio fertiliser(Science)

Biofertilisersare organisms that enrich the nutrient quality of the soil. The main sources of biofertilisers are bacteria, fungi and cyanobacteria. Rhizobium bacteria is found in symbiotic assosiation the root nodules of leguminousplants. These bacteria fix atmospheric nitrogen into organic forms, which is used bythe plant as nutrient.Azotobacter and Azospirillum also fix atmospheric nitrogen, but these are free-livingbacteria in the soil.

Mycorrhiza is a fungus that forms symbiotic association with plants. It absorbsphosphorus from soil and passes it to the plant. Cyanobacteria are autotrophic microbes that are widely distributed in aquatic andterrestrial environments and have the ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen.Blue green algae, not only add nutrients but also the organic matter and thusincrease fertility of the soil.

2.      Why did youth were not in conformity with the ideals of moderates during freedom struggle? (Indian History)

Not contented with the political mendicancy of the ‘moderates’ and the inefficient decisionmaking of the ‘extremist’, the advent of individual and revolutionary terrorism was gettingprominence in the freedom struggle.Indian youth resort to revolutionary terrorism during the independence struggle in threephases: like post Bengal patrician, between NCM and CDM, and last phase post Quit IndiaMovement.

The other reason was the youths coming in contact with the global events like Influence from outside India like Russian revolutionist (nihilism) and Irish nationalists. ·        Top Class Education for ST Students

This is a Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for ST students introduced from the academic year 2007-08 with the objective of encouraging meritorious ST students for pursing studies at Degree and Post Graduate level in any of the Institutes identified by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for the purpose.

·        Eklavya Model Residential Schools

In the context of the trend of establishing quality residential schools for the promotion of education in all areas and habitations in the country, the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) for ST students take their place among the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas and the Kendriya Vidyalayas. Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are set up in States/UTs with grants under Article 275(1) of the Constitution of India.

State the classical theories of the origin of monsoon.

1. Halley’s Thermal concept: Indian monsoon is because of contrast between Indian Subcontinent and adjoining Indian Ocean. Halley’s theory, suggested in 1686, considers the summer monsoon to be a regional phenomenon.

2. Aerological concept: This was suggested by R. Scherhag in 1948. According to this theory, monsoon circulation develops due to changes in air temperature at all levels over the Indian Subcontinent and adjoining Indian Ocean

5.      What are the important uses of a detergent?

Powder and liquid detergent can be used for other purposes besides cleaning clothes or dishes. This can save you money from having to buy multiple cleaning products.

·        All-Purpose Cleaner
